About Dr. David Stachura: Meet the Mind Behind the Science

Dr. David Stachura is a broadly trained scientist and an expert in immunology, hematology, developmental biology, and molecular biology. Dr. Stachura received his BS in Molecular Biology from Lehigh University and his PhD in Molecular Biology from the University of Pennsylvania. Afterwards, he performed his postdoctoral studies at the University of California, San Diego. He was a professor at California State University, Chico (Chico State) for ten years, running a successful laboratory, mentoring future scientists, and acquiring millions of dollars in grants for the university. Afterwards, David decided to go into the public sector to help people directly. He is currently the Chief Operations Officer and Chief Scientific Officer of FACTORFIVE Skincare and SpecBio, which are both companies focused on harnessing the power of adult stem cells to improve people's health and well being. Additionally, he runs a non profit biotechnology company called Philanthropic Pharma focused on preventing, detecting, and treating human disease.
